Alive & Thrive (A&T), funded by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, seeks to reduce undernutrition and death caused by sub-optimal infant and young child feeding  practices. Each year 1.4 million children die as a result of poor IYCF, and millions more suffer long-term consequences.
