The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to solicit proposals for the production and distribution of materials. Details of each type and specifications for size, paper quality and colors are listed below.  Additionally, the detailed distribution list (quantity and place) is attached – see Annex 1.  Print materials will be delivered by the local NGO or NGOs nationwide to the government health facilities Office of the Upazila Family Planning Officer (UFPO) and programs as relevant.

This Request for Proposals is to identify and contract with a local NGO or NGOs that are able to print and deliver the materials to support A&T’s communication campaign in Bangladesh. A&T will provide the original electronic files to the awarded party or parties for printing.


To be considered, bidders must provide the following:

  1. Only Local NGOs/National NGOs/ non-profit organizations will be considered for the bidding
  2. One detailed proposal, as described above (including all printing and delivery costs, and VAT and any other applicable taxes).  Unit costs should be included in the cost proposal so that if FHI 360 changes the quantities due to changing program needs before the Purchase Order is issued, the unit costs can be evaluated.
  3. A description of your delivery capabilities/plan (delivery is required as per the distribution list attached in Annex 1).
  4. Three references, including contact information for each.  The references should be for past experiences for whom similar work was done
  5. A complete cost proposal for the above listed tasks
  6. The email address that Alive & Thrive, FHI 360 may send a confirmation of receipt of your submission

Inquiries and answers to inquires will be shared with all applicants on this website. No telephone inquiries will be answered.

Responses to this RFP should be submitted to the attention of Shak Mohammed Abdullah by March 31, 2017, 5:00 P.M. Dhaka Bangladesh time.  Proposals received after this date and time may not be accepted and may be considered non-responsive. FHI 360 will acknowledge receipt of your submission by email.
